" I think the Mat Zoo is non smoking. They have bands. Ms. Heath, the MatSu Community Band is well worth seeing. Had the most enjoyable night listening to them a few months back. The Smithsonian exhibit is supposed to be good; after your post, I think we'll go. Thanks! You know, smoking comes with the territory. Yeah, I smell like a cigarette, but it is not going to stop me from enjoying bands like The Connection at the Mugshot!!!! "

" Sally, I respect you, but there is really not very many venues in the Valley for musical performers, bands, trio's, etc... and if you do find one, it's almost always a SMOKING venue.
The Valley needs to go NON-SMOKING EVERYWHERE, Like Anchorage has.... So that some people will spend what little expedible income they have for entertainment. Who want to go out and come back smelling like an old cigarette...Only smokers! ! Poor workers...
Of course if you want to work for free, there is always a place. "
