BURGLARY

Oct. 22, 2:32 p.m., Mad Max clothing store: Employees arriving at work discovered the store had been broke into.

Oct. 23, 4:38 p.m., Holiday Dr.: Someone broke into a home. Nothing was apparently stolen.

ACCIDENTS

Oct. 22, 2:34 p.m., Boundary Wy. and Herning Ave.: Sarah Carl allegedly ran a stop sign and hit Rebecca Simkins. No injuries. Carl cited.

Oct. 25, 6:49 p.m., Parks Hwy.: A Ford Expedition allegedly ran a red light and hit a Pontiac Grand Am as it was turning left onto the Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. The Ford’s driver was cited for running the light.

DWLCSR

Oct. 24, 12:20 a.m.: Justin Green, 22, stopped for allegedly running a red light. Summons: DWLS.

Oct. 25, 11:53 a.m.: Morgan Carabellese, 20, Wasilla, stopped as the driver of a suspicious vehicle. Summons: DWLS. Passenger Jude Cameron, 22, Wasilla, arrested on $1,500 misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear.

MCA

Oct. 24, 5:45 a.m., Chevron: Brandon Virgin, 20, Wasilla, issued summonses for MCA and MOCA. Passenger Andrew Ducharme, 18, Wasilla, was issued a summons for MCA.

DUI

Oct. 24, 5:47 a.m.: Mathew Scott, 18, stopped for allegedly driving 57 mph in a 45 mph zone. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

Oct. 25, 4:34 a.m., Parks Hwy. near Stanley Rd.: Jason Corgill, 33, Tok, stopped for speeding. Charge; DUI. Bail: $1,000.

Oct. 25, 8:48 p.m.: Police pulled over Stephen O’Sullivan, 55, Wasilla, having previous met him at the Mug-Shot Saloon and observed him to be intoxicated. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

ASSAULT

Oct. 25, 12:36 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Main St.: A male reported he’d been assaulted at the Tesoro station.

THEFT

Oct. 24, 1:40 p.m., Brett Memorial Ice Arena: A Wasilla man reported that on Oct. 23 numerous items were stolen from his pickup.

Oct. 24, 3:55 p.m., Sportsman’s Warehouse: Charles Singleton, 23, Wasilla, allegedly tried to steal $217.22 worth of ammunition.

Oct. 25, 11:21 a.m.: A 74-year-old Wasilla man reported his ATV stolen from his garage.

ALASKA STATE TROOPERS

DUI

Oct. 26, 3:58 a.m., Fairview Lp. Near Marble Wy.: Scott A. Willfong, 50, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DUI-drugs, marijuana possession. Bail: $500.

Oct. 28, 1:30 a.m., Mile 9 Knik-Goose Bay Rd.: Spencer Millar, 21, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $3,000.

DEATH INVESTIGATION

Oct. 26, 5:48 p.m., Buckboard Rd.: Diana Shakoske, 60, Palmer, found to have died of natural causes.

ACCIDENT

Oct. 27, 4:04 a.m., Mile 88.3 Glenn Hwy.: John Goodlataw, 79, Glennallen, southbound with two passengers, hit an icy patch, lost control, left the road and rolled. The 2004 Chevrolet van came to rest upside down. All occupants were taken to the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage. One was treated for minor injuries. Damage: $5,000.

Oct. 27, 8 p.m., Mile 84 Parks Hwy.: Mary Wilson, 56, Trapper Creek, southbound in her 1999 Toyota Tacoma, hit a patch of black ice, drove into the ditch and rolled multiple times. Pickup totaled. Wilson hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Oct. 28, 10 a.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. near Trunk Rd.: Daniel J. Erickson, 26, Wasilla, stopped in his Ford F-250, was rear-ended by a 2009 Mistubishi Lancer being driven by Amos Stankiewicz, 19, Barrow.  Stankiewicz cited. No injuries. Damage to Ford minor; to Mitsubishi: $3,000.
