A perfect day in Palmer

About two weeks ago I drove my pickup downtown, parked and set upon a walk-about to review the end results of a hectic road construction season in Palmer. It was a beautiful autumn day. The multi-colors provided by nature were vibrant, the temperature was about 60 degrees, there were  blue cloudless skies and fresh, sparkling snow capped the surrounding mountains. Even the water tower overlooking the town appeared to shine more brightly on this day.
